Cap Rocat Mallorca SPAIN

Cap Rocat is all about simple luxury without the ostentation. Set on a secluded headland on the Bay of Palma de Mallorca, this former 19th century military fortress is stunningly blended into the landscape, the magnificent fortress has been totally transformed, whilst retaining the integrity of its architecture and the natural environment.

Taking care to work with the architecture, the local products and the local food, the owners have created a fantastic boutique hotel in Mallorca that identifies with its strong cultural traditions.

If you are looking for seclusion, go for The El Cabo Suite – positioned in the most secluded part of the fortress. The Suite features a large living room furnished with one-off, original pieces of art, spacious gardens with private terraces and a private pool.

There are 21 other suites in the fortress, all occupying the former shooting pads and munitions stores; perched on the cliff’s edge they command spectacular views of the Bay of Palma, and include their own private patios and terraces.

Enjoy a treatment in the Spa, a game of tennis on the court, or relax in the spectacular infinity pool, created on one of the walls of the old fortress, and soothe your soul as the water meets the sea and sky as you gaze out over the twinkling Bay of Palma.

Cap Rocat has two fabulous restaurants: The Sea Club – a private club with an informal restaurant set in a secluded cove, surrounded by sandy areas and sunbeds; and and La Fortaleza; an award-wining canopied restaurant overlooking the bay of Palma and serving local Mediterranean cuisine using ingredients sourced from local ecological farms.

Private dining can be arranged in The Old Fortress kitchen. You can also enjoy wine tastings and cooking classes here.

Cap Rocat sits overlooking the Bay of Palma, in the South of Palma, Majorca, Spain, close to some of Majorca’s most famous beaches.
