Humanist Ceremonies | Celebrant
In a Nutshell
Gareth is a gay man and an accredited Humanist wedding celebrant who will help you design a wedding ceremony that is unique and personal to the two of you. At your home, by a lake, at a stately home – Gareth can marry you at a location of your choice in a format that is as traditional or as modern as you’d like, or anything in between. Based in the North West, Gareth is available to conduct same sex weddings anywhere in the Britain and internationally…
Why do you want to work with us?
I am trained and accredited by Humanists UK to conduct non-religious wedding ceremonies. As a married gay man I particularly want to work with other gay couples to help them to have a fantastic and memorable wedding, just like my own.
What is your creative approach to weddings?
I will work closely with the couple to get to know the things that matter to them personally to invent a ceremony that is moving and individual and which reflects the unique personalities of the couple.
What do you enjoy most about what you do?
It is lovely to see the tears of joy on the faces of the couple, and how they are reflected in the faces of their family and friends. Gay weddings are very special, because so many gay people have spent much of their lives thinking that they would never marry (and in many places outside the UK this is still not possible) .
What is your favourite wedding song?Somewhere from the Wizard of Oz.
What is your favourite wedding reading?Kahlil Gibran: The Prophet On Marriage.
What is your travel policy?
Travel is included at no extra charge within Merseyside, Greater Manchester and North Wales. Travel expenses are negotiable for longer distances. I will travel anywhere in the World if travel and accommodation are provided.
Regions covered: North West England, nationwide and internationally
