Hi, I'm Laura! I'm a Humanist wedding celebrant based in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.
I specialise in creating ceremonies which are joyful, heart-warming and as completely individual as all the other details you’ve painstakingly planned for your big day.Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
Every couple deserves the right to celebrate that they've found someone they're willing to stumble through life with! Every couple also deserves to feel safe, respected and supported through the process of planning their wedding. Love is a universal human experience but the intricacies of it are unique to each and every couple. I want to learn what your love is like. And as far as I'm concerned, there are no wrong answers!
What is your creative approach to weddings?
Your ceremony is written from scratch to reflect you and your relationship – no templates, no gold, silver or bronze package options, just your own little love story. Every wedding I write and conduct is a collaboration, so we’ll work together to create a ceremony which feels honest and authentic to you. That’s not to say you need all the answers – my job is to offer suggestions and advice, to unpick your story and tease out a plan which feels like the perfect fit!
What do you love about what you do?
I adore getting to know my couples. I love hearing stories of how you met and what you thought when you first laid eyes on each other. I want to hear the juicy bits too - the first date disasters, the irritating niggles which drive you mad, the bits which make you human! Most importantly of all, I want to discover why you love each other so much that you want to spend the rest of your lives together. And armed with all of that personal insight, I'll write and deliver a ceremony which truly does your relationship justice - which strikes the perfect balance of sentiment, honesty and fun!

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No. I'm all yours!
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event.
What forms of payment do you take?
Payments are made in three installments. £400 when you book to secure your date, £400 when you receive a written draft of your ceremony and £400 the week of the wedding.
