Is it free to join the same-sex wedding directory?

Yes, it is free to register an account. And we also have premium plans that let you add wedding venues, suppliers, honeymoon destinations, events/fairs and packages & promotions.

What can I do with a free account?

You can manage your profile, bookmarks and add free listings like Real Weddings, Real Engagements, Real Families and Styled Shoots.

Can I add a venue, supplier or honeymoon listing free of charge?

No, you can only add any premium listing as long as you agree with the terms & services and fulfil the subscription payment. For more information about our pricing, visit our pricing page.

How do I get a premium account?

Your account status changes after you purchase any of our premium plans. For more information about our payment plans and pricing, visit our pricing page.

How to add a new listing?

The fastest way to add a new listing is using the My Account (menu found on any page). My account > Add listing > Choose the listing type you wish to add.

How to edit or add additional information to an existing listing?

To edit an existing listing, head over to My Account (menu found on any page), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to edit and press the Edit button. The process will allow you to make any amends to your listing.

How to add or change the images to an existing listing?

To add, change the images or the image order an existing listing, head over to My Account (menu found on any page), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to edit and press the Edit button. The process will allow you to remove, add or re-order the images used for your listing.

How to add or change the logo to an existing listing?

To add or change the logo to an existing listing, head over to My Account (menu found on any page), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to edit and press the Edit button. The process will allow you to remove, add or edit the logo used for your listing.

How to change the contact information (email, phone number, address) for a listing?

To add or change the contact information to an existing listing, head over to My Account (menu found on any page), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to edit and press the Edit button. The process will allow you to edit the contact information used for your listing.

How to manage listing reviews?

To manage your listing reviews, head over to My Account (menu found on any page) and press the “Reviews” tab on the page.

How to claim a listing?

To claim a listing, head over to the listing profile page and press the “Claim listing” link just under the name of that listing; fill in the required information and press the “Send” button.

Why should I claim a listing?

Listings that aren’t claimed yet don’t have a “Send Enquiry” button, so they can’t receive any enquiries. After claiming a listing, you will be able to receive all direct questions for that listing straight to your inbox.

How does your pricing work?

We offer multiple pricing methods as subscriptions (monthly and yearly) and one-time payment packages. For more information about our pricing, visit our pricing page.

What benefits do I get from having a premium account?

Only premium account can add premium wedding listings like venues, suppliers, honeymoon destinations, events/fairs and packages & promotions.

How long does a subscription last?

It depends on what subscription you purchased. We currently have both monthly and yearly subscriptions.

What payment methods do you offer?

We accept PayPal and all major credit cards (including Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and UnionPay). For one time payments, we also take payments via bank transfer or purchase order.

What currency are your prices in?

They’re in British pounds (GBP).

Are there any hidden charges or setup fees?

There are no hidden charges and no setup fees. You can switch your plan or cancel your subscription at any time. Note that if the money-back guarantee period has passed, your account will remain active until the end of your billing period.

What is your refund policy?

We have a 30-day money-back guarantee after your first payment. Test drive us with absolutely no risk and if we’re not the right fit for you, just let us know.

Do you charge fees for payments or wire transfers?

We do not charge any fees for payments or wire transfers, but your bank or your credit card provider might. Please consult with them or read their terms & conditions before sending money over.

When does my subscription starts?

Your subscription starts the day you make the payment. For purchase orders, the subscription starts the same day we send the invoice.

Are there any hidden charges or setup fees?

There are no hidden charges and no setup fees. You can switch your plan or cancel your subscription at any time. Note that if the money-back guarantee period has passed, your account will remain active until the end of your billing period.

How to renew my subscription?

To renew a subscription, head over to My Listings (My Account > My Listings), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to continue and push the Renew button. The process will allow you to make any amends to your listing first then ask you to make a payment. Once the payment has been confirmed, we will keep the days you have left into your current plan and add the extra period you subscribed to.

How to upgrade/change subscription?

To change your subscription, head over to My Listings (My Account > My Listings), press the three-dotted button on the listing you wish to renew and press the Renew button. The process will allow you to make any amends to your listing first (make sure to select the new subscription at this stage) then ask you to make a payment. Once the payment has been confirmed, we will keep the days you have left into your current plan and add the extra period you subscribed to. Now everything is set up with the new subscription plan.

Why do I get redirected to a payment page after submitting my listing?

It can be either because you have created a new listing or editing a listing with an expired subscription. Once you complete the payment, your listing will go live, and you will be no longer asked to make a payment next time you edit that listing.

Why is my listing isn’t live yet?

If you have recently added a new listing, but your profile page isn’t live yet, it might be because we haven’t confirmed payment yet.

How do I know if I have any outstanding payments?

The fastest way to check if you have outstanding payments is using the My Account (menu found on any page). My account> My Subscriptions. You can find any due invoices and unpaid balance, and you can also make the payment by pressing the Manage Subscription link.

What if I am unhappy with the service I receive from you?

We are very sorry you are unhappy with our service and would love to change to make things better. Please contact us directly so that we are made aware of any issue you may have. If you are in the 30 days money-back guarantee and would like us to cancel your subscription and get a refund, we understand and respect your decision. In this case, please use the cancellation form free of charge.

I’ve added a listing and want to delete it. Can I do this?

When you add a listing with us, you enter into a contract to purchase a listing subscription. If you no longer wish to go ahead with the listing, you can cancel the contract before the 30 days money-back period – free of charge.

How to pay by bank transfer or purchase order?

To make a payment by bank transfer or purchase order, you must select the “One Time” plan (radio button) when adding a new listing or make an additional payment. Once the “One Time” plan (radio button) is selected, you will have the choice to pay by bank transfer, and the following page will display our bank account credentials. Note that your listing will be live only after confirming the payment has been cleared by our bank.

What is the difference between IBAN and SWIFT?

A SWIFT code is used to determine which bank account you are using when you are transacting, while your IBAN identifies the specific bank you are using to make a payment/transfer.

How to improve my listing profile?

There are a few ways to improve your listing profile page. Here are our recommendations:

  • add high-quality images to your listing and re-order them in the same way you expect couples to see them (most important first);
  • add a high-quality video presenting your venue overview or supplier business services;
  • add unique content to your listing profile (try and not copy/paste the information) as this signals duplicate content to search engines;
  • add a complete description of your services you are offering, including your team and equipment;
  • ask previous couples to add a review to your listing profile page.

How to get more enquiries from my listing profile page?

We have a few tips on how you can make your listing more desirable to couples:

  • make sure you include all your business forms of contact to your listing and keep them updated (email, phone number and any social media accounts you may have)
  • when adding your website link, avoid adding your homepage and try to adding a page designed for LGBTQ+ weddings and make sure that page has a contact form or a other ways to contact
  • try and avoid adding external links into your description. The only external links you should have on your profile page are your website and social media profiles. Adding external links to other sources might distract the couple’s attention and lose conversion.

How to send an enquiry?

To send an inquiry, head over to the listing profile page, press the “Send Enquiry” button, fill in the required information, and press the “Send” button.

Are all wedding venues, suppliers, and honeymoons in the directory LGBTQ+ friendly?

Yes, we only add LGBTQ+ friendly wedding venues, suppliers, and honeymoons in our same-sex wedding directory.

How long does it take for the wedding venue or supplier to reply?

Because we only act as a middle-man partner to venues and suppliers, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time, but it’s usually pretty fast, ranging from 24 hours to a week.

Is it free to add our love story to the wedding guide?

Yes, it’s completely free, and we welcome all same-sex couples to add their love story to our wedding guide. Many couples find the posts on our real events helpful in finding inspiration and even plucking up the courage to ask the question themselves.

How can I get our photos in your wedding guide / blog?

To add your photos to our guide, head over to our Add Listing page or use the My Account (menu found on any page) and create a new listing specific to your event type.

What sort of real events are allowed on the wedding guide?

We currently offer the option to add same-sex weddings, engagements, families, and styled shoots. If there’s anything that we’ve missed, feel free to make a request.

How to customize my profile?

To manage and customize your profile, head over to My Account > Account details (menu found on any page).

How to reset a lost or forgotten password?

To reset a lost or forgotten password, head over to My Account > Login/Register (menu found on any page) and press the “Forgotten Password” link on the page or go straight to the Forgotten Password page.

How to change my email address?

To change your email address, head over to My Account > Account Details (menu found on any page), modify the old address with the new one and press the “Update Account” button. You will get a confirmation email that you have to push to make the change.

How to log in using Facebook or Google?

To log in with your Facebook or Google account, head over to My Account > Login/Register (menu found on any page) and press the Facebook or Google Button. Then you’ll get a notification asking for your permission to agree with the transfer of information and redirect you back to our Account Details page.

I have not received my email confirmation / new password.

Sometimes, there are high numbers of emails sent between accounts, which may delay sending other external emails. There’s nothing you can do to send emails faster, but the delays should not take longer than 5 – 15 minutes. If you have waited for more than 20 minutes and haven’t received your email yet, please contact us directly.
