Bette Love Illustrations

Rachel here the creator of Bette Love and I wanted to quickly use this opportunity to introduce myself and my wedding packages.

I offer 3 main packages, which I go into detail about on the following pages, and whilst my illustrations are done in a fashion style, I’m proud to say that I don’t follow the fashion ethos, of slimming everyone down to fit fit the fashion mold. I’m a strong believer that fashion and style does not have a body type, and I like to show that regardless of our shapes, we do all look beautiful. I’m particularly drawn to illustrating quirkier couples, who do their wedding their way and express their personality in their day rather than following the traditions. I am fully inclusive and am driven by my couples as to what pronouns or terms they wish to use. As such I use a mixture of ‘Nearly Weds’, ‘Bride’, ‘Groom’, and ‘Happy Couple’ across my material.

Having done quite a bit of research, I rarely see items for LGBTQ1+ couples in the mainstream wedding field and as someone who works in equalities, with networks I would like to address this balance, and celebrate LGBTQ+ love.

I am led by my couples.

The best part is showing people that you don't need to be a super model to look fantastic in a fashion style illustration. We are all beautiful and do not need to fit the mold fed to us by mainstream wedding and fashion industry.

I have 3 packages that I can offer you: Each can be modified.

Absolute Beginners: This package is all about the 2 lovebirds. A studio portrait created from favourite snaps of the day. Or maybe an illustration as a gift for your partner, friends or family. This is created after the wedding, as an extra piece of excitement to compliment the wedding photo’s. Size of package is 1 A3 size (11.5 X 6.5") Investment: £260 inc p&p Kooks: This package includes all the above, along with 4 smaller A4 studio illustrations of your chosen VIP’s. This is created after the wedding, as an extra piece of excitement to compliment the wedding photo’s. Ideal to send as thank you gifts. Size of package is 1 A3 size (11.5 X 6.5") plus 4 A4 sized Investment: £550 inc p&p Heroes: The Live Illustration Package Bring a touch of wow to your big day, with me there in person, sketching all your VIP’s live. This works well as guest entertainment, and doubles up as wedding favours. Example investment: Minimum of 2 hours booked max hours 6, at £299 per hour. Plus any travel or hotel costs that may be required. Bespoke offer created for each couple. Your investment gets you: 4 - 6 illustrations per hour for your guests to take home, in a clear presentation bag. 1 portrait of the happy couple completed in my studio after your wedding, if booking for longer than 3 hours. Am happy to finish off to a maximum of 8 guest illustrations in my studio, for those who missed out, if booked for more than 3 hours.
