Relaxed, colourful, documentary wedding photography for all humans in love. We’re Jess and Karolyn, a queer married photography team capturing real moments, genuine connection and joyful celebrations across Ireland and beyond.

Because it’s personal. As a queer married couple ourselves, we know how powerful it is to feel seen, safe and celebrated exactly as you are. Weddings can carry complicated emotions around family, identity and expectations, and we understand those nuances in a way that goes beyond surface level inclusivity. We love working with LGBTQ+ couples because there is often a strong sense of authenticity, chosen family and intention behind the day. Being trusted to document that is something we never take for granted.

Our approach is documentary first, with gentle guidance when needed. We spend most of the day observing rather than directing, capturing real interactions, laughter, emotion and all the in-between moments that tell the true story of your wedding. When it comes to portraits, we keep things relaxed and natural, usually just going for a wander together rather than staging poses. We focus on colour, atmosphere and connection, creating images that feel timeless but still full of personality.

The people, always. We get to witness one of the most meaningful days in someone’s life and preserve it forever. There’s something incredibly special about photographing moments that will matter for decades, the nervous excitement before a ceremony, the hugs with chosen family, the chaotic joy of the dance floor. We also love that every wedding is different. No two stories are ever the same, and that keeps the work endlessly inspiring.

Our wedding photography packages include full day coverage, high resolution edited images delivered in a private online gallery, and personal support throughout the planning process. We help with timelines, advice and location ideas so couples feel confident and relaxed on the day. Many couples also choose to add a second photographer, analogue film photography or wedding content creation for behind-the-scenes video highlights delivered quickly after the wedding. Everything is designed to feel flexible and supportive rather than one-size-fits-all.

For short coverage weddings we charge an hourly rate of £250, minimum booking is 2 hours. We have other packages available for longer coverage which are better value.
