I'm an LGBTQ+ wedding celebrant based in London. I create beautiful, joyful, uniquely personal ceremonies inspired by your love and story. I was a founding member of a charity called Choose Love and spent 10 amazing years there as Director of Partnerships, so beautiful events and love are two big themes for me!

As a member of the community myself, I'm so grateful that we get to be who we are, love who we love, and marry who we choose to marry in the UK, as there are so many places in the world where that's not the case. It is such a joy for me to have the chance to honour queer love in all its forms.

I really love to spend time with couples to understand who they are, what matters to them, and how they want people to feel during and after their ceremony. My creative approach will vary depending on what I learn and what we discuss at this stage because the best ceremonies truly reflect the couple and their love story. This will look different for every couple, which is why I love my job.

I love the process of listening to and learning about a couple and their journey from meeting to marrying. I have always loved writing, so the fact that I then have the opportunity to distill the couple's unique love story into a beautiful ceremony to honour them is a joy and a privilege. Of course, I love being part of the wedding day too, seeing the love in the couple's eyes and feeling it emanating from all the guests gathered to honour the union.

Deep-dive meeting - After our discovery call, if we decide to proceed, we will meet (via video call or in real life if you’re in the London area) to discuss in more detail ideas, requirements, and dreams for your ceremony. We will also discuss any symbolic rituals you may wish to incorporate

Questionnaire completion - I will send you each a questionnaire to complete, which will give me everything else I need to tailor a ceremony to perfectly reflect who you both are and to tell your love story Recommendations of readings and poems that could be a good fit for you (if you would like) Advice and support with your vows, if you are writing your own, including comparing your vows to help ensure they work perfectly together Ceremony script draft - I will create and share my draft for your ceremony with you. It will be around 30 minutes long and will include all stage management details Incorporating feedback - You can either send feedback on email or we can discuss on a call. I will then update the script Venue meeting / Rehearsal - ahead of the big day we can visit the venue together, location dependent, and rehearse. If this is not possible at the venue we can rehearse at another location or on video call The big day - I will arrive an hour before the ceremony to give any last-minute support required and to connect with venue management and AV teams, as required Officiating your ceremony
