Set in the picturesque landscapes of Hertfordshire, Hanbury Manor Marriott Hotel & Country Club is a 19th century Jacobean-style manor located in Ware, only 25 miles north of Central London. Wood-panelled libraries, cosy fireplaces and charming guest rooms are a reminder of the quiet sophistication of a time gone but not forgotten.
The 200-acre estate features 161 bedrooms and suites, an 18-hole golf course designed by Jack Nicklaus II, a leisure club
and spa, two dining outlets and a bar, 14 meeting and event spaces and an abundance of countryside strolls.
Venues and Capacity
Both licensed for civil ceremonies, choose from two distinct venues, Poles Hall & Thundridge Suite and Garden Court & Summer House, where historic charm and modern facilities blend seamlessly.
Poles Hall & Thundridge Suite: Once the chapel of the manor house, Poles Hall is full of character, with stunning vaulted ceilings and a minstrels' gallery. Poles Hall can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for your ceremony and seated dinner and up to 150 for your evening reception.
Garden Court & Summer House: Enchanting no matter the season, Garden Court and Summer House offer a light-filled venue featuring 27 guest rooms. Enclosed in a romantic walled garden, this is the ideal setting for a more exclusive occasion. Garden Court & Summer House can comfortably accommodate up to 70 guests for your ceremony, up to 80 for your seated dinner and up to 120 for your evening reception. Prefer to host your ceremony outdoors? Between May and September, choose to host your ceremony outside within our walled garden and dance the night away in Summer House. Accommodation

Extend the celebrations and stay with Hanbury Manor before and after your big day in one of the hotel's 161 charming guest rooms and suites, spanning across Manor House, Orchard Wing and Garden Court. Hanbury Manor caters for everyone, with interconnecting rooms, suites and spacious king room and double accommodations, with preferential rates for your and your guests, based on a minimum of 10 bedroom nights. Rooms and suites feature wireless Internet, flat-screen TVs, mini fridges and plush bedding. Room service is available too.

Imagine being pampered and winding down in the spa, or teeing off your nerves on the green, before you and your loved ones meet, greet and mingle.
All accommodation comes with stunning views across landscaped gardens or the estate's picturesque golf course. Check-in is from 3 p.m. and check-out is by 11 a.m.
