If you’re dreaming of a wedding that blends timeless elegance with artistic grandeur, The Wallace Collection in London is a perfect choice. Located in the historic Hertford House, right in the city’s heart, this iconic art gallery offers a stunning setting surrounded by world-class masterpieces and exquisite 18th-century architecture. Imagine exchanging vows and celebrating your love in a venue that once welcomed London’s elite to unforgettable parties. Event Spaces & Capacities The Wallace Collection offers exclusive use of its beautiful spaces after public hours, giving you the freedom to design your wedding exactly as you envision it. Whether you’re planning an intimate gathering or a grand celebration, there’s a space to suit your style and guest list: The Courtyard: A versatile and enchanting space with a glass roof and leafy surroundings. It can host up to 300 guests for a standing reception or 160 for a seated dinner—ideal for larger celebrations. The Great Gallery: Featuring rich red walls, natural skylights, and a world-renowned collection of Old Master paintings, this elegant room is perfect for a seated dinner of up to 160 guests or a reception for 250. It’s also a beautiful spot for symbolic blessings and vow exchanges. The Drawing Room Suite: With timeless décor and fine artworks, this suite is perfect for pre-dinner drinks or stand-alone receptions, accommodating up to 160 guests. Planning Your Wedding Day Your family and friends will be welcomed into the first floor Galleries via the iconic grand staircase for celebratory reception drinks amongst the galleries’ opulent silks and works of art. Please note that clear drinks (sparkling wine and white wine are permitted) and single bite canapes are only allowed for the drinks reception. We recommend around 45 minutes - 1 hour for your reception before heading to your separate wedding breakfast space. For your wedding breakfast you then have the choice of dinner in the world-renowned Great Gallery or in the stunning glazed Courtyard. The Great Gallery offers you and your guests the opportunity to have dinner surrounded by masterpieces from Rembrandt, Titian, Canaletto and of course the iconic Laughing Cavalier. Whereas the Courtyard, the former sculpture garden, is enclosed by a soaring glass roof, making it the perfect venue throughout the year and for late night dancing under the stars. The venue operates on a dry-hire basis, giving you access to a carefully curated list of exceptional suppliers to personalise the venue and make it uniquely yours for the evening.Catering
