Set on the banks of the Brisbane River, gold, natural greens and pastels helped give this styled lesbian wedding shoot (featuring newly engaged couple, Fi and Megan) a gorgeously soft, romantic tone. View the pictures...
Real lesbian couple Fi and Megan dressed as brides for the day for this gorgeously romantic styled shoot to celebrate marriage equality in Australia on the banks of the Brisbane river.
Celebrant Jamie Eastgate, from Brisbane City Celebrants, held the mock ceremony with the couple standing beneath a white floral arbour draped with lengths of fresh orchids and ivory rose heads. The aisle was lined with small boxed white flowers, and laser etched wooden 'bride' signs hung from the backs of the two brides' chairs.
Contrasting with the white in strong natural tones were two mixed green botanical bouquets and delicate floral crowns; clear perspex wedding stationery and ghost chairs added a subtle undertone of purity, elegance and nature to the dreamy setting beneath Brisbane's iconic Story Bridge.
Fi and Megan are now engaged! We wish them every happiness for their future as wife and wfe together.
