Chris Freer has shot more than 800 weddings in his 14 years as a professional wedding photographer in the Lake District, and says that of those, the same sex weddings have been some of the most joyous, exciting and memorable. Whether you are having a queer, bi, straight, gay or lesbian wedding - it doesn't matter to Chris whose discreet and flexible approach, and documentary-style photography ensures that all those beautiful and compelling moments are captured on camera to create a wonderful visual story of your day.

Love is love and that should be celebrated - I simply want to create a wonderful visual story of a couple's wedding, whatever their sexuality.

I want all my couples to feel comfortable while I'm taking their pictures which is why I try to get to know each one as a couple before their big day. My style is mainly reportage with landscape portraits that reflect the personalities of the couples and their friends in a creative way.

Should a couple wish to travel away from their reception venue to capture some signature Lake District landscape wedding shots, then I'll ensure the timings for this have been incorporated into their day. All of my same sex wedding photography packages include all edited, high resolution images.
