Hey.. I’m Gem! Always fun-loving, non-traditional and an all round lover of love. I’m an LGBTQ friendly wedding and lifestyle photographer based near Northampton in the East Midlands. As an alternative wedding photographer, I will travel the world to photograph the best days ever! Getting a kick out of all things colourful and a little bit different.

Why would I not want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?? Everyone deserves to love whoever their heart chooses, without judgement or prejudice. I want to celebrate love in every shape and form and know it is so important for every couple to feel valued and amazing on their wedding day.

As an alternative wedding photographer, my style is partly documentary – capturing the little moments that you may not have been part of on the day. This means you get to look back on these as a couple and smile / belly laugh / shake your heads in dismay!

I love to get right in there and shoot the love and fun while being unobtrusive and relaxed. One of the MOST important things for me is to get right in there and capture the feelings and emotions of your special day. When you look back at your images or album, you are totally back there in the moment.

I love every second of a wedding - from the excitement and anticipation before, the declarations of undying love, and the shenanigans that come with the after party! I love building trusting relationships with my clients (usually making friends for life!) and getting down on the dance floor with them in the evening. I don't take it for granted for one minute that I can follow my dreams by shooting weddings and give my couples the most amazing images that they will treasure forever.
