What Makes Us Unique

In a nutshell

We get to know you.  We chat, we listen and then we go about creating a ceremony especially for you. Sometimes our couples think we chat a bit too much... and then they read the script and they understand why! Not everyone is looking for the same ceremony so we get to know and work to include your humour and the things that are important to you.

Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?

Love is love - it is not exclusive to any orientation or belief and nor are our services. We help you to celebrate the love that you share. It really is that simple.

What is your creative approach to weddings?

I'm a creative person!  I have a background in performance, creative writing and teaching performance.  I am happy to be as creative as you like - and I'll share my experiences of what works and doesn't so, together, we can create a perfect ceremony.

What do you love about what you do?

All of it!

What is included in the wedding package?

It really does depend what you want included and this is reflected in the fee that we agree.  Usually you can expect at least two or three face-to-face meetings including a rehearsal at your venue (who needs surprises on the big day?) along with unlimited contact via phone, text and email.  You can write your own vows, if you want.  You can include an additional ceremony such as handfasting.  Pets are welcome and I've worked with ring bearing dogs and horses in the past.  Our ceremonies usually include a choreographed entrance (so everyone knows where they are supposed to stand/sit), exchange of vows, exchange of rings, an opportunity to sign a certificate, readings from family or friends if desired and a confetti moment to help your photographer get the best photo memory for you.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

On rare occasions we cover more than one wedding a day however this is usually where the celebrations are scheduled at opposite ends of the day and always within a 20 miles radius. After all, we are not attending your wedding , we are just helping you to kick start the celebrations with a meaningful ceremony.

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Fees are per ceremony booking and are quoted at time of booking.  Fees are inclusive of everything including travel expenses - you don't need hidden extras when you are budgeting a wedding.

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

We just need ourselves to offer our services - although if your ceremony is taking place in a large field with several hundred guests, we may talk to you about a PA system.

What forms of payment do you take?

BACs are our preferred method of payment.  We ask for a holding deposit to secure your date and then installments are paid as we develop your ceremony. Final payment must be made 28 days prior to the ceremony taking place.
