What Makes Us Unique
In a nutshell
Wedding cakes are available in all shapes and sizes- from a simple single tier round cake, all the way up to a six tier ‘Designer Wedding Cake’ created to really make a statement. Many cakes are of the round stacked layout, but we can supply a range of cake stands and separators to make your cake stand out.
Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
We make each cake by hand in our professional bakery- every couple is unique, so we think that your cake should be just as unique as you are!
We are justifiably proud to be the winners of the VOWS Award for ‘Wedding Cake Designer/Baker of the Year’ for 2019. This awards ceremony took place in November 2019, at a glittering ceremony in the Doubletree Hilton Hotel in Glasgow.What is your creative approach to weddings?
Many factors can help you to choose the best cake for your wedding. The wedding venue itself, and how your venue is styled and decorated, are very important factors when choosing your cake. For example, if your venue is a classic country house hotel, a vintage style or perhaps a rustic cake would complement your theme.
A chic city centre venue would suggest a more glamorous cake style- diamante, gold or silver cake embellishments might work for you.If you are looking for a cake with the WOW factor, we can definitely help- we often make cakes that site over six feet tall!We are famed for our sugar-crafted sugar floral work, and would love to create some sugar flowers to add to your cake.Where are we?

We were over the moon with the cake you made for us.
It looked absolutely stunning and was even better than we had imagined. It tied in perfectly with our theme, colours and even my dress!
Everyone commented on how delicious the cake tasted too. (Our favourite in the end had to be the lemon!)
We loved our afternoon tea, it gave us a great idea of the flavours we liked. Looking at the example cake designs also helped give us an idea of the look we wanted.

We visited Jenny and Tom at the bakery for a tea and taster consultation. Their cakes are works of art and it was instantly evident that Jenny and Tom love what they do and that their cakes are made with love, passion and an absolute wealth of experience. Jenny and Tom were interested in us as a couple and in our journey, and what we envisaged for our big day.
We really enjoyed chatting with Jenny and Tom in their beautiful bakery, and got to sample some lovely gluten free cake. My wife and I are both gluten free but this was no trouble at all for Jenny and Tom. We had no need to go home and think things over- we knew instantly that we had found the people who we wanted to make our wedding cake.
Jenny and Tom are lovely, warm, friendly, professional and efficient. The service was outstanding from start to finish and we would have no hesitation in recommending Jenny’s Cakes to anyone who is looking for a beautifully constructed and delicious tasting cake.

The cake drew so many gasps ….. it was simple elegance standing in the room.
