What Makes Us Unique
In a nutshell
Weddings are my life and I'm totally dedicated to making sure your day gets captured in a way you'll look back at and smile. One of the main differences is that I often stay until well into the evening (not just until the first dance) and I provide a proof book for you to flick through all the finished images and show friends and family.
Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
One of my earliest memories is being amazed by my grandparents’ new Polaroid camera, but I didn’t really start taking photos properly until university where I had access to a wider range of kit... and people to photograph. I tell every couple that regardless of who they are, a wedding is to be celebrated. And I do love a party!
What is your creative approach to weddings?
I think it’s really important that you get on with your photographer. They’ll be around for hours and if you can relax with them then you won’t feel like you’ve been trailed by the paparazzi all day. Also don’t be afraid to tell them what type and style of photos you are looking for, as they should be able to tailor their style to your requests.
What do you love about what you do?
Weddings are never boring – no matter how many I go to. I love meeting so many people, the challenge of trying something different for every couple, getting the best from venues and even working in all weather conditions! I’ve learnt to lace up dresses, tie cravats and I know how to pin buttonholes so no one gets stabbed. It’s all part of the job.
What is included in the wedding package?
My most popular package is what I term Digital Only £1500 and includes:
- All day photography + proof book
- Photos on USB
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
I only shoot one wedding a day.
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Frequently couples book me to cover a whole day event (often 12 hours +). I also offer per hour rates to extend a half day job, or to cover through until the end of a party.
What forms of payment do you take?
I require a £250 booking fee to secure a date in my diary and then final payment 2 weeks before the event. I accept cash, cheque or bank transfer.
