Meg Senior Ceremonies

I am a humanist celebrant and I create warm, playful wedding ceremonies for couples all over the world. I'm a friendly Northerner at heart and live in Yorkshire, but can be found up and down the UK and Europe conducting weddings for the most fun couples!

In a nutshell I pride myself on celebrating individuality and authenticity above all else. I believe that humans have the right to be their true, bonkers, unique selves. As your celebrant I will make it my mission to help you express yourselves fully, and deeply connect with your loved ones during your wedding ceremony. I want to work with YOU and your beloved, because if you think I might be your cup of tea there's a bloody good chance you're right. It might sound  cheesy but: it's an honour to guide couples through their wedding ceremonies. If you want the planning process for your ceremony to be fun and prepare you for married life, you are EXACTLY the kind of people I'd love to work with.

Amongst a million detailed things that I can't possibly list here (get in touch to chat in detail my loves) - I match the vibe of the couple I am working with to help them create a truly personal ceremony. It's my job to draw out your stories and values, learn about your personalities and relationship, and then craft it into a script which sounds like you might have written it yourselves. Highly personalised and utterly unique every time!

I love being part of people's happiest life moments. It's such a treat to transform casually-mentioned phrases and quiet compliments into a ceremony script which has guests laughing and crying (happy tears of course). More than anything I love getting to know my couples like they are new friends, and then joining them at their wedding to celebrate how amazing they are!

You can read up to date information about my fees on my website megsenior.com. If you book me as your celebrant I will take a fee to secure your date. Then depending on how much time we have before your wedding, you can pay the balance over one or two further installments.
