What Makes Us Unique
In a nutshell
My services are unique because no two ceremonies are the same.
Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
I want to work with all couples who are in love. Love is Love!
What is your creative approach to weddings?
I have a creative imagination and love writing stories and telling stories of how couples met and fell in love.
What do you love about what you do?
What could be better than getting to know two people, finding out how they met and fell in love. I get to tell their story and create the wedding of their dreams, including lots of fun along the way!
What is included in the wedding package?
Included in my wedding package is:
- Initial Meeting
- Ceremony Planning
- Couples Quiz ( So I can find all about you and tell your love story)
- Vow writing support
- Suggestions for readings or rituals
- A bespoke draft ceremony script
- Changes to script if required
- Unlimited contact throughout
- Rehearsal prior to your ceremony
- Symbolic Rituals (additional charges apply only if I supply products e.g ribbons, candles, roses etc)
- Liaison with venue or suppliers
- Final script
- Officiating your ceremony on the day (I only book one per day)
- Certificate of the ceremony in presentation box for you to keep
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Not usually. I prefer to give my full attention to one couple on their day.
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event.
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
No specific materials or conditions are required.
What forms of payment do you take?
usually bank transfer
£100 deposit secures your date. A 2nd payment is due 8 weeks before and final payment is due 4 weeks before the weddingWhere are we?

We had the pleasure of Sue for our 10 year vow renewal. I couldn’t recommend her more. Right from the beginning we felt like we had known her forever, we had several zoom meetings and talked through all aspects of what we wanted for our renewal. We gave her our ‘story’ to which she wrote in an incredible way, there was plenty of laughter and tears at times. Sue also helped us with our choice of vows. We included handfasting in our service and Sue included our 10 year old son in that which was so special to us. Thankyou again Sue, you made our day very very special.

We came across Sue and are so glad she was the celebrant at our wedding. She is not only a lovely, genuine person but she took the time to get to know us and our story – nothing was too much trouble.
Sue will guide you through the process (we had no idea of how it worked with a celebrant) and will give you lots of tips, suggestions and even example readings and vows if you need them. She also made the effort to meet with us in person ahead of our wedding so she could really get to know us.
Sue delivered our ceremony perfectly, we had so many comments from guests about how personal it was, and we couldn’t have wished for a better celebrant. Sue also gave us a certificate at the end as an added touch.
We would definitely recommend Sue to anyone looking for a celebrant.
Sue was amazing from the very beginning with zoom calls around my husbands working ours and then meeting us on a weekend and a few more meetings in person before the big day and was also happy with me contacting Sue via email and whattsapp with any silly question I had.Sue feels more of a friend and got to know my partner and I so well our story she put together for the day was perfect and all our guest could tell it told our story so well,our day ran so smoothly and Sue as well as the venue had a part to play in that.We are so grateful we found Sue for our magical day.
