In a nutshell
Hello, my name is Alex, and I am a Broadcaster and Wedding Celebrant from Speak and Celebrate based in Manchester, England.
I look forward to meeting new people and delivering the appropriate celebration based on your needs and requests. I am a firm believer in the power of words and the ever-lasting impact they can make. Words can lift spirits, create empathy and understanding, unite people and leave a lifelong impression. My job will be to work with you to help craft and deliver the most perfect words, memories and stories to create an unforgettable Wedding. Being a Celebrant means I can combine my many years of public speaking with my role as a radio presenter and help vocally realise stories of love and life. I am a Radio Presenter and Broadcaster, Voice Over Artist, Event Host and Public Speaking Coach based in Manchester, and I currently host the XS Manchester Breakfast Show. If you are generous enough to invite me to be the Celebrant for your ceremony or event, you can rest assured that I will be considerate and attentive when delivering services according to your needs and requests. I will make myself available to help answer any questions you may have through the process in order to ensure your needs are met, and you are comfortable and reassured at all times.Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
As an openly gay man, I would love to be able to help guide members of the LGBTQ+ Community through any events where a Celebrant would be the right choice of person to lead the ceremony - whether this be weddings, funerals or gender celebrations.
What is your creative approach to weddings?
If you are generous enough to invite me to be the Celebrant for your ceremony or event, you can rest assured that I will be considerate and attentive when delivering services according to your needs and requests. I am happy to work with you on any themes or creative ideas you might have for your celebration.
What do you love about what you do?
I love meeting new people and tailoring my content and delivery according to the specific needs of the client.

Alex was the celebrant at our son’s naming ceremony in October and I couldn’t recommend him highly enough. He spent time with us to understand what we wanted from the ceremony, and the script he sent us for review was perfect. He had great ideas and advice for us without imposing anything and he let us design the ceremony with his support. On the day he was so professional and spoke so well.
