With a lifelong career in events and theatre, I bring both worlds together to create unique ceremonies that entertain and sparkle. If you’re looking for a celebrant to write and deliver a ceremony with pizazz, humour, warmth, and creativity – and with ridiculous attention to detail – I’m here for you.
Why do you want to work with LGBTQ+ couples?
I may be a middle-aged cis, straight woman - but I’m passionate about inclusivity and believe everyone deserves equal respect. I’m an LGBTQIA+ ally, a long-term campaigner for gay rights, and joined the fight for legalised same-sex marriage a long time ago. Now it's here for good (hurrah), and it's the reason I became a celebrant.

My creative approach is simply to bring your dream ceremony to life. It's doesn't matter whether you want small and intimate, loud and proud, themes and colour schemes, just the two of you, or a cast of thousands... I'll make it happen. I've created scripts and delivered ceremonies with a Disney theme, superhero costumes, handfasting rituals, wine blending, and rock music. I've also officiated the most elegant ceremony involving 10 people and a vow renewal for a couple who never had the wedding they really wanted - involving their entire family in the script.

I've worked in events and theatre for 25 years. Being a celebrant combines the two worlds - what's not to love?
What is included in the wedding package?
My prices stat from £700 + travel costs.
That includes:- The first meeting to get to know each other
- Couples questionnaire and follow up
- Bespoke script as agreed
- Up to two script changes (if requested) before the day
- Ceremony rehearsal, followed by adaptations if necessary
- Ceremony delivery on the day
- Printed vows booklets with wedding colours
- Printed certificate with wedding colours
- Printed keepsake script
- Liaison with venue
- Liaison with photographer
- Ceremony items to match your theme and/or colours
- Hardback personalised and dated keepsake folder containing your script, certificate and vow booklets
- All elements for rituals and traditions as required
- Further script changes
- Further rehearsals (if all key guests aren’t able to make the same time)
- Ceremony music choices timed and edited on to one playlist
- Travel outside of Dorset and Hampshire
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No. I'll only ever do one wedding or naming a day. All my ceremonies are bespoke and I put a lot of personal detail into them, so I devote the entire day to making them come alive!
Do you charge per hour or per event?
From £700 per wedding.
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
No - just a couple with big ideas, and a desire for the best ceremony EVER!
What forms of payment do you take?
Bank transfer.
