The Stroppy Mare - Horse Box Bar

Inspired by our own wedding in 2022 we offer a personalised service to deliver a high quality bar for your special day. The Stroppy Mare horse box is a brand new conversion, finished to an excellent standard with a double bar fridge, freezer and sinks.

We will decorate the bar to fit in with your wedding theme and serving staff will be in a smart uniform. We offer for your to visit us to view the bar and we will meet with you to ensure we help to make your day run smoothly, including applying for the Temporary Event Notice. Our horse box bar is a wonderful addition to any wedding.

We want to work with all couples who are celebrating their love each other and help be a part of making their day as special and memorable as possible.

Through working with the happy couple we will create a drinks menu and package that suits their wedding and guests. We are particular in our attention to detail, from the decoration to the drinks we serve.

Our business was inspired by our own wedding in 2022 on our smallholding , with all our animals including our horses. We had a horse box bar and we and our guests loved the look and feel it added to our day. We want to provide the same service to others, making their day as wonderful and special as ours was. Shaun and I love a good party, happy guests and delivering 5* customer service.

Included in the hire is the vintage style horse box bar, friendly trained staff in uniform (or dressed to compliment your theme), your personalised bar package developed with you. We are fully licensed and insured and will do your Temporary Events Notice if you’d like us to. We include a pre wedding meeting either online or in person and the opportunity to view our bar.

We dedicated our services to your day and will only cover one wedding in a day

We charge per event.

All we require is enough space to park the horse box and good access to reasonably level ground. Water and Electric would be a bonus but is not essential as we can be self sufficient.

We offer customers cash or card bar payments and have a range of options on how you would like your guests to looked after. We require a deposit to secure your booking and date by bank transfer.
