Because love is love, and every couple deserves a ceremony that’s as unique, joyful, and unapologetically them as their relationship. At To Drag & To Hold, we create safe, inclusive spaces where LGBTQ+ couples can fully express themselves, celebrate their identities, and infuse their ceremonies with heart, humor, and a little bit of drag sparkle. What is your creative approach to weddings?

At To Drag & To Hold, we believe weddings should be as bold, unique, and full of personality as the people getting married! We blend heartfelt ceremony craft with drag flair - think humor, storytelling, theatricality, and a touch of sparkle to create an experience that’s memorable, inclusive, and completely you. No cookie-cutter scripts here: we work with you to design a ceremony that celebrates your love story, your identity, and your sense of fun, so your big day feels both meaningful and magical.

What do you love about what you do?

We love bringing joy, laughter, and a touch of sparkle to life’s most meaningful moments! There’s nothing better than helping couples - especially LGBTQ+ couples to celebrate their love in a way that’s authentic, fun, and unforgettable. Every ceremony is a chance to combine heartfelt storytelling with drag flair, creating memories that will be cherished forever. Simply put: we get to do what we love, and that’s celebrating love in all its fabulous forms!

What is included in the wedding package?

We offer a very competitive package:

  • An initial consultation (Zoom, phone, or in-person) to chat through your ideas and Pre-Booking Questionnaire. Guidance with registrar contact to ensure the legal bits are handled.
  • A fully tailored ceremony script, including drafts and final sign-off.
  • One venue visit, arranged with your venue.
  • Unlimited advice on personalising your ceremony – poems, readings, and music.
  • Vow writing support if needed.
  • Multiple check-ins: a second planning meeting, a one-month-out review, and a final script sign-off (via Zoom or phone 14 days before the wedding)
  • On-the-day support: A calming pre-ceremony chat to shake off the nerves.
  • Liaising with your photographer/videographer to capture all the magical moments, including that iconic confetti line.
  • Unlimited contact by phone or email during the planning process.
  • A presentation copy of your ceremony script and a keepsake certificate.

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

We typically take on just one wedding per day. This allows us to dedicate our full attention, energy, and creativity to your celebration, ensuring that every moment from the big highlights to the little, intimate details is captured beautifully. By focusing on one wedding at a time, we can provide a seamless, stress-free experience for our couples and deliver photos and memories that truly reflect your day.

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Our packages are organized by year and the specific day you wish to book. Each package includes coverage of pre-event preparations as well as post-event photographs, ensuring that every special moment of your day is captured beautifully.

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

No fancy requirements here! We just need access to the ceremony space and any areas where you’d like the magic to happen. If there are any special considerations—like lighting, sound, or unique setups—I’ll coordinate with you (and the venue, if needed) ahead of time to make sure your day flows fabulously and every moment sparkles."

We take payment via BACS, Card & Cash.
