What Makes Us Unique

In a nutshell

Standing proud in the heart of Liverpool's city centre, this fabulous Edwardian hotel is one of the most iconic hotels and wedding venues in Liverpool.

Originally built in 1826, the Adelphi has experienced three reincarnations from the ground up, was cited as one of Charles Dickens's favourite hotels, and became one of the main arrival and departure points for ocean liner voyagers, including guests on the Titanic. The hotel is now a Grade II listed building and displays a mix of past and present throughout; in fact at The Adelphi, every corner has a story to tell - why not add yours.
Grand Designs
Perfectly reflecting the building's opulent exterior, the Adelphi's function suites showcase vintage Edwardian features with modern flourishes and are versatile enough to host intimate and large scale celebrations of up to 650 people:
The Banqueting Hall - lined with the most stunning chandeliers. Beautifully decorated and flexible space, this function suite can hold up to 650 guests and boosts its own dancefloor and stage.
The Pearce Suite - this glamorous and spacious room is flooded with natural daylight, boosting the original Edwardian grand windows and high ceilings. The Pearce is perfect for larger receptions for up to 325 guests.
The Empire Suite - an intimate, light and airy space with wood panelled walls, chandeliers and the capacity to host up to 100 ceremony guests or 30 guests for a wedding banquet.
The Sefton Suite - an exact replica of the first class smoking lounge on board the Titanic, the Sefton Suite is an atmospheric and attractive place that can hold up to 200 guests.
The Crosby Suite - ideal for smaller reception, this function suite can hold up to 90 guests and has its own private bar. With the tall windows and front facing view of the city itself.
The Derby Suite - immersed in natural daylight that charmingly illuminates the exquisite original chandeliers and fine ornate ceiling, so typical of the hotel's grand architecture. This room has its own private terrace.
The Kensington - the modern, purpose-built suite with its own private bar, perfect for an evening reception of up to 550.
"We love to make each one of our wedding ceremonies, breakfasts or receptions, one to remember. We take pride in all the little touches and our service is second to none. With a wealth of experience and with some of the most beautiful spaces and function layouts. "
