Our Head Chef, Craig Tomlin has spent his career climbing through the ranks of the kitchen staff hierarchy. He quickly learnt the importance of a clean and efficient kitchen, but most importantly the strength a great team has. In 2013, Craig took some time out of the kitchen to travel and explore new cuisines. Coming back to the UK he was inspired by some of the new flavours and ideas he had experienced first hand, which only diversified his food further. Fast forward a few years and we are thrilled to have Craig at the pinnacle of our team where he is an integral part of the ongoing success of weddings and events at Apton Hall. Our beautiful Dovecot is the perfect place to finish off your mornings preparations ready for your ceremony. With room for your closest wedding party to share the excitement with you as your guests arrive, it’s one of our most adored courtyard buildings at the venue. Not only do you start your day here, but you finish the day as Newlyweds in the luxurious bedroom, that’s just a stones throw from the dance floor at the end of the night. This discrete and spectacular space was specifically designed to enhance the magnificent features of exposed oak beams and vaulted ceiling over the bedroom. The room, featuring a super king bed with bespoke embroidered cushions, chaise longue at the foot of the bed and adjacent roll-top bath, offers the ultimate romantic night away. The biggest and most beautiful suite on site, is spread across two floors boasting a separate cosy sitting room and large bathroom with walk-in shower.

Apton Hall features seven luxurious guest rooms in different contemporary styles, each designed to create a place to relax and unwind. Each room is decorated and furnished to the highest possible standard, named after surrounding fields at Apton Hall Farm. All bedrooms include fluffy white towels and a range of natural botanical toiletries made with essential oils. Overnight stays include a Full English & Continental Breakfast served in our spacious Grade II listed Granary, boasting traditional features such as exposed beams and wooden floors. It is the ideal place for newlywed couples and guests to meet for breakfast the morning after your wedding day. This relaxed environment means guests can refuel before they head home from Apton Hall.

At Apton Hall, we believe that no two weddings are the same, which is why we take a bespoke approach when it comes to pricing. Prices vary depending on the time of year, day of the week and amount of guests that you are looking at hosting. We also offer lots of different options to tailor your quote to your budget.

When choosing an Apton Hall wedding, not only will you have the venue and its grounds exclusively from 11am on the morning of your wedding through to 10am the following day, we also provide:

• Wedding Coordinators on hand to help you from the moment you book up until the day of your wedding
• A Front of House Manager to ensure that your day runs seamlessly from beginning to end, introducing in your speeches to ensuring that everything happens on time and your guests are well looked after
• On-site parking for up to 50 cars
• Overnight stay for the Newlyweds in our Dovecot, followed by a Full English Breakfast the next morning
• Use of our sound systems to play your ceremony, reception drinks & wedding breakfast music throughout the day
• Mood lighting in the New Barn
• 6ft round tables for your wedding breakfast, white table linen and napkins, all cutlery, crockery & glassware
