Burgh House

Just a stone's throw from Hampstead Heath and located amongst the pretty cobbled streets of Hampstead Village is Burgh House, a beautiful Grade-I listed, 300-year old Queen Anne mansion that retains many of its original features including wood panelled walls, a barley-twist staircase and fabulous fireplaces.

Music Room and Library Built in 1704 as a private residence, Burgh House is now an arts centre and museum that is open to the public and licensed for civil weddings. Say your vows in this house's magnificent wood panelled music room or library surrounded by some 4, 000 historic objects, artworks, photographs and documents. Once the official formalities are over, celebrate your union with friends and family in the beautiful Peggy Jay Gallery. Welcoming and Attentive Burgh House is - and always has been - a safe, welcoming, inclusive place. It currently holds up to four weddings every week, planned and managed by its small in-house team.
