Reimagined to be the perfect venue, the private, family-run estate brings alive your tailor-made event with versatile spaces and great food. Led by slick operators with a twinkle in their eyes, they bring creativity, immaculate taste, attention to detail and an anything-is-possible approach to make it uniquely ‘you’. Nestled in the Kent countryside, tucked away by a bountiful orchard, lush paddocks and dreamy gardens, sits a sprawling private estate where anything goes. Chapel House Estate is home to unique celebrations where you get to have it all, your way. From ceremonies beneath wild apple trees to grand celebrations in our elegant Thorne Barn, every space has been created to tell your story, your way. Here, the pace slows. However you choose to dine, a relaxed sit-down meal, generous grazing tables, a full-on feast or late-night wood-fired bites, our experienced team brings a thoughtful, delicious approach to event dining. From orchard-inspired canapés and bespoke cocktails to elegant three course banquets, every menu is crafted with passion, provenance and creativity. Our beautifully restored wedding venue and estate give you the freedom to create unique memories. All-out or low-key, we’ll help you design your perfect day with a dreamy backdrop, great food, luxe lodgings, and your favourite people.

We’re not about a you-must-use-these-flowers list, there’s no one way to party on the estate, and there’s certainly no rush. Instead, you’ll get our help, ideas, endless styling options from our recommended suppliers, and an abundance of space to truly make it a day and night to remember. From your first drink of choice to your final dance beneath the stars, every moment is designed with care, creativity and heart.

Unwind in luxury lodgings set within our 35-acre estate, from arts & crafts-inspired homes to contemporary pine lodges, all with beautiful views across gardens, wild meadows and star-filled skies. Wake to birdsong and gather at number nine restaurant for a leisurely full English or continental breakfast with friends and family, because the celebration doesn’t end overnight. Chapel House sits at the heart of the estate, nestled between the Wild Apple Orchard and the Old Malt Granary. Sleeping up to ten guests across four double bedrooms and a charming bunk room, it offers a truly characterful stay. Dating back to 1290, this Grade II-listed flint and stone chapel has been beautifully reimagined as a contemporary luxury residence. Upstairs, the elegant honeymoon suite features a freestanding copper bath with uninterrupted views across the terrace and gardens. Nine Hideaway Lodges Our nine contemporary pine lodges are open-plan with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open onto the west paddock. They offer a compact but luxurious place to relax, complemented by magnificent, far-reaching views of nature. Cottages We offer two charming cottages nestled just outside the estate. Both are ideal for small groups to relax and unwind before or after a day of celebrations. Thorne Cottage - sleeps up to four guests and offers a cosy, comfortable retreat just moments from the estate. Chapel Cottage - sleeps up to six guests and provides a relaxed, home-from-home space for families or small groups to unwind.

To secure your date at Chapel House Estate, a £1000 non-refundable booking deposit is required.

Please note that this booking deposit, along with any payments made at the halfway point between your retainer and your wedding date, is non-refundable. The final balance for your wedding is due six weeks prior to your event and is also non-refundable. Should you need to cancel, please notify us in writing.
