Set over two levels, with its own private entrance and private bar, you will certainly feel special as you are warmly welcomed into our light, airy and unique space that is our Oak Framed 16th Century Grand Barn.
As a venue we have so much to offer starting with complete exclusivity of the Barn on your wedding day, unlimited opportunities to capture beautiful photos and the ability to personalise every aspect of the day ensuring your wedding day is everything you wish for and more.

Catering

We understand that the food is an incredibly important aspect of the day and offer a wide range of menus to suit all tastes, including children!

Our passion for taste, presentation and style is in abundance with our highly skilled chefs continuously creating bespoke menus and refreshing our wedding breakfast courses to suit all different tastes and styles.

To make the process even easier, we offer complimentary food and wine tastings to all of our clients, this allows you to tweak and change the menu to individually suit your requirements, ensuring that all the catering is exactly how you imagined it would be on your big day.

Exclusivity

Our beautiful 16th Century Oak Framed Barn would be completely exclusive to you on the day and has the ability to seat 180 Guests during the day over two levels or 130 Guests in the Lower Barn and allowing up to 300 in total for the evening celebrations.

We believe in bespoke Weddings, creating individual packages to accommodate your ideas, requirements and style, making your day unique to you as a couple. You will have a designated wedding planner to guide you through the whole experience and ensure you have the day you wish for.

Accommodation

Set in the tranquil 400-acre picturesque Estate of Bedwell Park, hosts a beautiful newly refurbished boutique Farmhouse accommodation.

The Farmhouse boasts four spacious bedrooms and is located perfectly next to our Grand Barn – allowing you to stay right next to all the action. A sumptuous Master bedroom awaits, with a super king-sized bed and a modern ensuite shower room. The three additional rooms include a charming family room with a king size double bed and one single bed, and two further king size double rooms all sharing a spacious family bathroom.

Cancellation Policy

In the event of cancellation, the following charges will be payable:

  • from the time of booking until six months before the function the deposit will be forfeited
  • from six months to three months before the function 25% of the estimated costs will be payable
  • from three months to one month before the function 50% of the estimated costs will be payable
  • from one month to the date of the function 75% of the estimated costs will be payable.
Please note that in the event of cancellation and when final details have not been confirmed, the cancellation charges will be calculated on the average spend of the wedding reception including venue hire, wines, bar drinks, meals and buffets.
Cancellations should be advised be telephone and then confirmed in writing. A written acknowledgement must be received from Essendon Country Club. The function is deemed to be cancelled the day the letter is received.

What is Included?

  • A specialised personal wedding planner to guide you through the experience and offer help and suggestions whenever needed.
  • All tables and chairs in the format of your choice.
  • White table linen and linen napkins, cutlery/crockery and glassware.
  • Waiting staff, bar staff and wine waiters, along with a dedicated duty manager on the day.
  • A private bar, wooden dance floor and alcove staging for a DJ or Band.
  • PA system for background music, cordless mic for speeches, TV screen for video/photos in the lower barn, silver cake stands and cake knife and wooden easel for your
  • Seating Plan.
  • Full exclusivity of the venue from 7am (for suppliers to set up décor etc.) – 12am on the day of the event.
