Henry Moore Studios & Gardens

Set in the magnificent Hertfordshire countryside, our seventy acre estate, showcasing 20th century sculptor Henry Moore’s iconic sculpture, makes us one of the UK's most distinctive event venues.

We offer a choice of two atmospheric, licensed venues: a 16th century aisled barn decorated with unique, modern tapestries and a suite in our contemporary visitor centre which has unrivalled views over the our sculpture gardens. Our gardens and Moore's sculptures offer stunning photo opportunities. You can also choose to make the most of our special sculpture gardens by hiring a tipi or marquee.

As a historic venue filled with irreplaceable artworks, we only work with our accredited caterers. We offer a choice of 5 trusted companies who will work closely with you to provide the perfect menu for your day. Whether it’s a fully plated four-course wedding breakfast, a more informal buffet or a sumptuous afternoon tea, they will take care of every detail so you and your guests can savour the day.

Our venue hire fee includes exclusive use of the Aisled Barn or Dane Tree House event spaces, and shared use of our gardens and grounds with visitors (during our open season we are open until 5pm. After 5pm the grounds are exclusively yours). It also includes setting up and delivery days before the big day.

We do not have accommodation on site but can recommend a selection of local hotels and B&Bs for you and your guests.

Dane Tree House is only available for daytime receptions between Nov-March, or Mondays or Tuesday during the open season. All hire fees are inclusive of VAT at 20% Please add a 10% supplement to our prices for events booked over Bank Holiday Weekends
