Situated next to the riverside, it includes a gazebo, Florentine sculpture, and a 'mount' crowned with a rotunda. Only plants and herbs known in the 17th century are grown in this garden. Queen Charlotte's Cottage is full of charm close to the palace, this cottage was created as a rustic retreat for royal picnics. It features a beautiful terracotta-tiled floor and a Print Room in which hang 150 satirical engravings. Upstairs, George III's daughter, Elizabeth, decorated the walls and ceiling with paintings of trailing nasturtiums and convolvulus.Kew Palace can host wedding receptions as follows: Queen Charlotte's Cottage: 24 (seated); 40 reception Kings Dining Room 30 (seated); 40 reception Queen's Garden 40 guests for a reception.
