The Kingston Estate is by far the best exclusive country house wedding venue in Devon to host your perfect day.  Nestled deep in the South Hams countryside near Totnes, we are Devon’s best kept secret. We try not to say no to any of your requests, so whether you wish to have a welcome party the night before, get married in the Walled garden, enjoy cocktails in the magnificent house, party in the vaulted cellar or arrive by helicopter anything is possible. We can sleep 100 guests in boutique cottages and barns.

There are a number of unique areas that can be used for your wedding which you get to choose. The areas are all suitable for different parts of the day or weekend. We are licensed to hold civil ceremonies and partnerships on site in numerous locations for up to 350 guests. We have both indoor and outdoor options making the venue extremely versatile.  If a church wedding is your preference then there are also a number of those nearby. We host bespoke one, two or three day wedding celebrations to provide a lifetime of happy memories and believe that anything and everything is possible. For the ultimate afterparty experience, hidden beneath the mansion house is the vaulted basement club with an enormous bar and a music licence until 3am.

The wedding feast can take place in the Rose Walled Garden or in the Hayloft Barn.  We work in the world of bespoke, creative and collaborative menu design. We are not only committed but passionate about food production, which is sourced from local suppliers who support sustainable and environmentally friendly initiatives. We are renowned for truly delicious and imaginatively presented food. We can provide bespoke breakfasts, lunches, dinners and everything in between, so whether you have rustic food stations, street food or haute cuisine our team is on hand to make it exceed expectations.

To us drink is of equal importance to food and where you stay. We have six bars situated across the entire estate which are used for different parts of the event. All of our drinks are created with the same attention to detail, to perfectly create beautifully tasting bespoke cocktails, mocktails and spritzers. We also have an extensive list of wines, beers and spirits to create a wonderfully eclectic vibe day and night.

We can sleep up to 100 guests with the added option of a bell tent or yurt village should you require any more accommodation than this. You and your guests can choose from a bijou bolt-hole for two or a generous pad sleeping up to 18. The cosy cottages offer plenty of space to hang out together and relax, even offering your own private garden. Our super luxe barns are tucked away and each has an indulgent hot tub with a countryside view. For those who want opulence the magnificent rooms in the mansion house are super roomy, elegant and contemporary with views over the surrounding countryside.
