Manchester Art Gallery

Get married in the company of some of the world's greatest artists at Manchester Art Gallery. Situated in the heart of the city, Manchester Art Gallery's magnificent Victorian architecture, contemporary glass atrium and superb collection of art make it a fabulous and unique place to tie the knot. Hold your ceremony in Gallery 16 surrounded by paintings by LS Lowry and Valette, then celebrate with drinks in the beautiful and romantic Victorian Galleries. Dining may also take place in the galleries or you may prefer the Atrium. This is also the perfect spot for dancing until the early hours.

Ceremony & Celebrations Ceremonies are held amongst the paintings by the famous and ever popular LS Lowry and Valette, in Gallery 16. Once the ceremony has taken place, you can celebrate with drinks in the picturesque Pre-Raphaelite Galleries, followed by dinner or a buffet in the modern glass Atrium. Numbers up to 80 will also allow you the opportunity to dine in the Victorian Galleries, providing you with a truly memorable backdrop. To complete the evening, the stylish Gallery Cafe is the perfect setting for disco and dancing until late. Gallery 16 and the Atrium will seat up to a maximum of 120 people for dinner, but other types of seating arrangements may be made to accommodate larger parties.

All catering is provided by the in-house catering team. Flexible catering packages are available and bespoke menus may be created for your special day. Speak to the team about what you have in mind. Menu tastings are possible. We do also offer dry hire - further details provided on request

The gallery is hired exclusively for you and your guests to enjoy.

The gallery don't have onsite accommodation but there are a number of excellent hotels on the door step and the team will assist with making recommendations.
