For those wanting an intimate romantic ceremony for just the two of you (or if you wish up with to 6 guests), our Runaway Weddings are designed to make your wedding day stress free and all about you. Your wedding ceremony will take place in the Summerhouse at Millbrook Estate. The Summerhouse will be dressed for your wedding and with a roaring log fire during the winter months. We can also open the 5m doors and you can enjoy a nearly alfresco wedding ceremony in the warmer months (many couples chose to hold most of the wedding ceremony outside in the beautiful gardens or under the old oak tree).

Our summer house offers a fabulous location to enjoy an afternoon Tea. There are lots of options, and our fabulous local suppliers can cater for all requests. Maybe a vintage afternoon tea, canapés or sharing boards!  Then in the evening return to the Summer House for a truly amazing Private Dining experience with a private chef. Words can't describe the incredible location and atmosphere. We set the scene with a roaring log fire, 17 flickering candles, mood lighting and romantic music (we don't want to list everything we do as we spoil the surprises!).

Millbrook offers intimate romantic elopements and escapes for couples. We only hold one wedding a day, so as your wedding day is just that.. yours!

Millbrook Cottages are award-winning 5 star Gold rated luxury cottages in North Devon. You have 4 cottages to choose from for just the 2 of you, or our Rose Cottage can sleep up to 4. 

We offer cancellation protection up to 2 days before arrival (subject to when you booked). The cancellation protection covers an 85% refund of your booking and extras (excluding our non-refundable booking fee) for reasons excluding War or Covid.

We like to keep our packages simple, so as you can create your wedding, your way! We have a list of trusted and talented suppliers for you to add on extra's for your day if you wish.
