What Makes Us Unique
In a nutshell
From its sweeping carriage drive to its impressive Elizabethan architecture and landscaped gardens, The Old Rectory is a very special place; a family-owned, quintessentially English manor house and exclusive use wedding venue in Redditch, Worcestershire that's licensed spaces also include an orangery and a barn.
Grade II listed, The Old Rectory promises privacy and exclusivity on your wedding day, meaning you and your guests can enjoy your big day without any interruptions. Imagine welcoming your guests in the Elizabethan entrance halls, raising a toast on the terrace overlooking the gardens, and pledging your marriage vows against one of its many mesmerising backdrops. Spaces are licensed for weddings both inside the The Old Rectory itself and outside in its gardens which means you have the choice of marrying in its newly built Victorian-style orangery which has 180 degree views across the gardens. In the summer, the doors open out onto the lawns and a private, covered terrace, and in the winter, its heated fire-tables and log burners keep everyone feeling snug. In addition, the Old Rectory's former stables have been transformed into the Lavender Barn - an oak-vaulted wedding space with full length windows that overlook the aromatic lavender growing outside and the central courtyard where you and your guests can mingle and party after your wedding breakfast.Catering
The in-house chefs can create everything from a traditional wedding breakfast to a sumptuous afternoon tea, and everything in between. Using the finest seasonal and local ingredients, the chefs will make your wedding meal one to remember.
