What Makes Us Unique
In a nutshell
Pentillie Castle sits in the heart of a privately owned 1,500-acre estate on the beautiful Cornish banks of the River Tamar. The enchanting, outstretched countryside views, extensive mature gardens, and secluded setting, provide the most spectacular backdrop to celebrate your wedding.
Pentillie is yours exclusively for your celebrations, including its 11 luxuriously appointed bedrooms, accommodating up to 22 of your closest friends and family. Whether you stay for a weekend or the whole week, you are set to have a wedding like no other.
Though grand in name, the Castle is incredibly intimate by nature, offering the perfect venue for a romantic elopement or a small gathering for up to 60 (with up to 40 additional evening guests). For larger celebrations of up to 250 guests, there are a number of incredible and inspirational spaces for a marquee. All figures include the happy couple!
The extensive grounds offer a host of stunning indoor and outdoor ceremony locations, all legally licensed for same-sex weddings. Choose from the Castle’s grand interior, the dreamy wisteria-clad Pavilion, the quaint charm of Victorian Bathing Hut on the banks of the River Tamar, or one of the picturesque garden settings.
Their experienced Weddings Manager will help arrange as much or as little of your special day as you like, with their hand-picked list of local suppliers and caterers (many LGBTQ+ owned), selected for the high level of service and quality provided. There is no prescribed formula for weddings at Pentillie, allowing you the flexibility and freedom to plan the wedding of your dreams.
As a gay-friendly wedding venue, the family and their professional team welcome couples of all sexual orientation, religion, and race. They would love to hear about your wedding plans and aspirations, please get in touch online, email [email protected] or call 01579 350044.
