The superb Hitchcock Room boats an ornamental fireplace and French windows and is licenced to hold up to 120 guests. With its special and original features, and spectacular views; it lends itself as the ideal backdrop for your wedding. The Pools Theatre is also a unique and exquisite room to exchange your wedding vows, holding up to 150 guests.THE HISTORYHeatherden Hall has been home to many notable figures over the years and it was within its walls that in 1921 the Irish Free State Treaty was negotiated and signed. But it wasn't until 1934 when it was bought by the renowned builder, Charles Boot, that its history in film began.A few months later, Boot met J. Arthur Rank, who became his partner in the Pinewood studio project, and in 1936, Pinewood produced its first film, London Melody. It has since produced more than 600 films including David Lean's Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and Oliver Twist, Lord Oliver and Marilyn Monroe's The Prince and The Showgirl, The Great Gatsby, the Carry On films and the majority of the James Bond series.
