Please note that the initial deposit is only refundable if you cancel your booking with seven days of receiving our written confirmation of your booking, otherwise deposit payment will be non refundable on cancellation.

Please note: Should you cancel your booking – strict rules apply, no exceptions will be made. Once the completed Booking Form and the initial deposit have been received and accepted by Pitcalzean House Ltd, a written confirmation will be issued. The contract will only be formal when we send you our written confirmation subject to terms and conditions. We reserve the right to refuse any booking prior to the issue of our written confirmation. If we do this we will promptly refund any money you have paid to us. Should you or Pitcalzean House be successful in sourcing a group to take over your booking, we will refund the deposit and any balance money paid to us. Applicants are required to lodge a cautionary deposit of £500 with the final payment. This sum will be held to cover any losses, damage and additional cleaning charges that may arise if the property is left in an unsatisfactory condition. Charges for extra services may be deducted from this. The deposit less any deductions will be refunded within seven days after the departure date. Should there be reason to cancel the Booking, we will return 50% of the Balance payment if cancelled prior to 6 weeks of arrival, or the whole amount including the deposit can be redeemed towards another holiday week. However, this must be within 1 year to the date of the original reservation at a date that suits both parties. If we cancel your booking We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, sometimes problems occur and we may have to make alterations. If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.
