Springkell is a beautiful Palladian Mansion surrounded by immaculately landscaped gardens and Scottish countryside. Originally built in 1734, it is just six miles from historic Gretna Green and full of magic and majesty.

Springkell's wedding room is magnificent. Featuring a striking 2m Italian marble-framed mirror, separate heavy oak entry doors an aisle and beautiful views over the gardens and parkland, it can be approached via the formal rooms - including the black and white marble-pillared entrance hall, and the Portrait Gallery. It can seat up to 80 wedding guests.Its sweeping Italian stone staircase with balcony offers a fantastic space for wedding photos.Your Extra Special DayThe Springkell philosophy is your perfect day, your way. Happy to tailor your day exactly how you would like it, they want to create a day that's right for you. If you would like a wedding breakfast somewhere other than the traditional dining space, they will move the tables and chairs for you; if you would like a special drink, they'll arrange it for you. Whatever your wish, Springkell is on hand to make sure you get your perfect day.Springkell is fully licensed to host Civil, Religious, and Humanist wedding ceremonies, same sex Civil Partnerships ceremonies, and wedding blessings, both inside the house and in the gardens. Please note: At the moment, we require a minimum of 7 rooms booked in order to host a reception & accommodation.
