Wedding guests will delight in the quirkiness of this historic pub - it is a treasure trove of goodies and basically just very, very cool.

Although The Bell is located in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, it still has great road and rail links, with Brighton only an hour away, and London 90 minutes.

You and your guests will enjoy an array of beautifully designed food, all created by the amazingly talented Head Chef. Nibble on a range of simple and comforting canapes, before sitting down to a exquisite three course meal. In the evening The Bell provides you and your guests with an easy and comforting buffet, perfect for those getting a little peckish.

At The Bell, you will have exclusive hire of our Big Room, Stables, Snug and Fire Pit.

The opulent Big Room can accommodate up to 90 guests seated, and 120 for your evening celebrations. The distinctive wallpaper and grandiose collection of chandeliers offer you and your guests a unique space to celebrate your partnership, enjoy a beautiful meal and party the night away. Downstairs in the historic Stables you can celebrate your nuptials with your very own red carpet walk which is rolled out just for you along the exceptionally long wooden table. Enjoy drinks and canapés from your personal bar whilst under their beautiful pink neon, 'I will always love you my friend' is the perfect place for speeches, offering a more informal approach to the tradition. Their Cosy Snug is your own little space to chill out and relax during the day. After your ceremony they will whisk you away to spend a little time by yourselves before the mingling begins. This is also the perfect place for guests young and old to rest on the comfy seats, enjoy the roaring fire, and get away from the noise (but only for a few minutes!).

The Bell is also equipped with 11 beautifully distinctive guest bedrooms, all with their own personality. Your guests won't want to get up for breakfast! Their amazing Love Nest lodge will be yours for the night, equipped with a fantastic copper roll top bath, perfect for a long luxurious soak. Warm up with your very own log burner and snuggle up in the Nest, the perfect place to end your day.

Cancellation of a confirmed booking at any time will result in a loss of the deposit.

If cancellation is received within 6 months of the date of the Wedding the Client will be liable to pay 100% of the price to the The Bell including the full price of the wedding package per person for the minimum number of guests (50).
