The Guildhall of Llantrisant

Tucked under the castle ruins, the Guildhall is a Grade II-listed wedding venue, steeped in centuries of history.

Our venue is ideal for smaller wedding celebrations of between 10 and 40 people. Have a look at the pictures of our Georgian Court Room which is perfect for your wedding ceremony, followed by a drinks reception on the Castle Green and afternoon tea wherever you fancy! Or if you prefer a fabulous wedding extravaganza with everyone you know in attendance, our Castle Green is the perfect place to house a marquee to celebrate, sing, dance and be merry with up to 150 guests.

All wedding and event catering is supplied exclusively through our partner caterers. Whether you are looking for grazing tables, afternoon teas or a full wedding breakfast, we can provide exactly what you're looking for!

Linens, crockery, cutlery and glassware as well as a cake stand and knife are provided by our catering partners as part of their service. You can even use our Victorian cake stand, which has adorned wedding breakfasts in Llantrisant for over a century. Our wedding ceremony & reception packages are available from £2,550 for 20 people.

We are very fortunate to have a number of fantastic local hotels to suit all tastes and budgets within a short taxi ride of the Guildhall. Many of these offer group booking discounts if you let them know that we referred them to you.

We have 50 attractive gold banqueting chairs which suit the backdrop of the Guildhall perfectly. You are welcome to use these at no additional cost.

Due to our lack of storage space, tables will need to be hired in at your cost. However, please discuss this with us first, as we would be delighted to help you organise this and enable you to share the cost with other bookings if this is possible.
