The Millhouse Slane

The Millhouse is a beautiful Georgian Manor and heritage Mill on the banks of the River Boyne. We offer bespoke, original weddings in a truly magical setting. The ultimate romantic haven residing in a wonderful garden location, which you can make your own exclusive country house for your special day.

Guests can enjoy welcome drinks and canapés in the Orangery, in the River Suite or al fresco in the Millhouse Courtyard. Spectacular wedding banquets are held in the Pavilion, our beautiful, light-filled, mirrored dining room. We can accommodate up to 190 guests in the Pavilion with enchanting views of the Orchard, River Terrace, Gardens and the River Boyne. The Orchard is beautifully lit at night with fairy lights, creating a magical atmosphere and one that your wedding guests will remember forever.

We pride ourselves on our high standards and our promise to give you the best dining experience, whether it is our barbecue style menu or one of our lavish four-course dinner menus. The Millhouse will exceed your expectations with an extensive menu selection to suit every style and budget.

The Millhouse combines old world charm and contemporary design to create a very unique, luxury wedding venue. With 15 beautiful ensuite bedrooms, the manor house can accommodate 33 - 40 guests, with an additional 34-57 in our glamping accommodation located on the grounds, equalling 107 guests.
