What Makes Us Unique

In a nutshell

Valleyside Barn is a modern but rustic barn situated in a countryside setting. Beautiful and picturesque grounds and gardens with pond for endless photo opportunities. Outdoor ceremony option in the intimate, fragrant, Mediterranean-style courtyard or terrace overlooking the rolling Devon hills. The industrial features give a blank canvas appeal and can be decorated minimally or elaborately - whichever you prefer. We can cater for small or larger weddings from 2 people up to 200 guests for an evening reception.

Catering

There is an on-site kitchen space included in the hire and the choice of caterers is entirely up to you. Guidance and contacts can be provided depending on what type of food and vibe you would like for your wedding breakfast - formal three-course plated or relaxed sharing platters to street-food style horse boxes or straight-forward grazing buffets - all can be accommodated.

Exclusivity

The whole site including our three luxury glamping tents are yours to use for your whole wedding weekend from the day before to lunchtime the day after. It's not just a day but a weekend of celebration!

Accommodation

The couple can take advantage of the elegant honeymoon suite the night before and night of the wedding. Up to 18 of their closest family and friends can experience luxury glamping in award-winning safari tents. Locally within walking distance there is a pub with 18 ensuite bedrooms or a large boutique converted pub accommodating up to 30.

Cancellation Policy

If the cancellation is more than 365 days before your wedding date the initial non-refundable deposit of 30% will be refunded. However, if the cancellation is less than 365 days before the wedding date the 30% deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee unless the date is re-booked by another couple, in which case a full refund will be provided.

  • Licensed for indoor and outdoor civil ceremonies
  • Capacity for up to 150 seated for wedding breakfast and ~200 for evening reception (tables and chairs provided for up to 120 day guests)
  • Fully licensed with various drinks packages
  • Kitchen space included with scope to choose own caterer
  • All furniture and glassware included plus PA system
  • Exclusive use from Friday – Sunday. Mid-week weddings also an option.
