How We Met
Neill and Iggy met in Devon after connecting on a dating app. Neill grew up there with Iggy having spent his whole life in London where they now live together. They lived apart when the engagement took place, and asked Jen, from Next Chapter Photography, to capture their love and relationship, with a dedicated engagement shoot...
The Proposal
We've been in love for eight months now and will be getting married in Whatlington, on Iggy's parents' property;
We got engaged when we were living apart. I was still living in Bath and travelled up to London as much as I could to be with Iggy. I was on a visit and we'd had an amazing day out in London together; we had spent hours wandering around the city and visited the James Bond exhibition at the London Film Museum (mainly because I'm a huge fan of Bond but also because the theme song to The Spy Who Loved Me (Nobody Does It Better) is our song); and that night, when we were in bed together cuddling and chatting, I proposed! It just came out! I had been thinking about the perfect way to propose to him but in that moment I knew he was the perfect man for me and I couldn't help but ask him there and then. I don't think he believed me at first, but thankfully he said 'yes'! We both hugged each other and cried tears of happiness. I wish I had done a more elaborate proposal but he tells me it was perfect. We went shopping for matching rings the next time I was in London and I let him choose them. I feel so lucky to have found him and cannot wait to see what our future holds.The Engagement Shot
We chose to hold our engagement shoot on the Southbank, as it's our favourite place to walk.
